Hi --

I'm running OpenSolaris 2009.06 on a server, primarily as
a file server using NFS.

Periodically, the server stops responding. I usually notice
this when a system on the network fails to boot (or takes a
long time) because it is waiting on an NFS mount. The server
does not respond to a ping and it isn't possible to log in
on the console. The only way to recover the server appears
to be a reboot.

When I look at messages, there is no indication of any reason
for the crash. In fact, there may be no messages for a long
time before the reboot.

Any suggestions on how to determine the cause of the crash?
