Hi, I need some help / information. I have a Packard Bell LJ65 DT100, which has Dual Core T6400 processors. I think from looking before on a compatiblity list that these processors aren't compatible with OpenSolaris as they don't support Intel Virtualisation (although i can't seem to find that list again). Can anyone confirm this for me?
Also if they are not compatible is it possible that if i go ahead with the installation that it may work? Or does anyone know what type of damage (if any) proceeding with the installation might cause. Sorry for all the stupid questions, but i tried installing OpenSolaris on an old Desktop that has compatible processors, but it's incredibly slow.
