I've just made a fresh installation of 32-bit b134, and still encounter the
same problems I had on my old OSOL (b134 built up through various dev releases
from the 2009.06 live CD) - as follows:

1) Firefox and Thunderbird start OK either from a terminal window, or from
their icons but neither close down fully. Their windows close but the $ prompt
does not return to the terminal, and attempting to close down OSOL completely
reveals that firefox-bin/thunderbird-bin are still running and not responding.
OK I can get rid of them with a pkill command but that surely is not what
should happen.

2) I've installed Flash 10 in Firefox (libflashplayer.so in
/usr/lib/firefox/plugins as usual) - the video runs fine but I get no sound.

When I run audiotest I get this

$ audiotest
Sound subsystem and version: SunOS Audio 4.0 (0x00040003)
Platform: SunOS 5.11 snv_134 i86pc

*** Scanning sound adapter #1 ***
/dev/sound/usb_ac:0dsp (audio engine 0): usb_ac#0
  - Performing audio playback test...
        <left> ................OK
        <right> ...............OK
        <stereo> ..............OK
        <measured sample rate 47953.00 Hz (-0.10%)>

*** Scanning sound adapter #2 ***
/dev/sound/audio810:0dsp (audio engine 1): audio810#0
  - Performing audio playback test...
        <left> ................

usb_ac#0 produces sound on the speakers as per the OK reports (left, right,
stereo) , but audio810#0 produces no sound. Either the terminal hangs, or
sometimes it reports OK for left, right, stereo but still there is no sound.

The Device Driver utility reports no problems.

Any help much appreciated.
