A couple of things.

There is no such thing as opensolaris 10. There is solaris 10, and there's
opensolaris 2009.06. Commonly called sol10 or osol.

#1 I recommend using something else for laptops. Solaris/opensolaris work
best as servers (notice oracle does not sell laptops.) IMHO, ubuntu would
be a preferable OS for that purpose, due to greater software compatibility
with various apps on the internet, and more powerful GUI and hardware
support, and better handling of sleep/power management / device removal.
That being said, some people do use it for desktops/laptops. We debate
about it frequently. They can't be convinced to change, and neither can I.
ZFS is pretty awesome. Although ubuntu comes with zfs-fuse, a lot of people
discourage using it.

#2 You are installing SunOS 5.10. This is not opensolaris. The
recommended product (and only legal product) in your case would be
opensolaris. Please go to opensolaris.org.

#3 The latest download from opensolaris.org is *not* the recommended one to
install on your laptop. If you go to "downloads" and look under "developer
builds" you'll see a reference to genunix.org. Here, you will find the
latest release. Although it is called a "developer build," it is not
unstable or experimental. You should find that it's reliable and solid, and
it's the best version available. This is probably what you want:
