Nothing is on this disk that keeps me from a reinstall. Im just a little
nervous because I was running a RAIDZ2. I dont know how hard it would be to
remount that raid onto the new OS install. I looked into the steps to do this
and it seems too easy. Nothing is ever as easy as it says in the book.
Its probably better anyway that I do a reinstall at this point. At one point I
accidentally did a chmod 777 on the entire system from root up.
At that point you should have tried "pkg verify" and "pkg fix" with arguments
suggested by the man page. The recursive chmod of 777 from root would
certainly produce the results you see.
