If you visit here: http://pkg.opensolaris.org/release/en/index.shtml

You may be able to find the package, that appears to be open, and there's an option to browse for packages. I know I had some issues with networking when I tried the 2009.06 livecd so I did some research and eventually downloaded the dev version snv_134 and the networking is recognized. My package manager has been working just fine.

For that version, you can go here: http://www.genunix.org/ and scroll down the page to Mon Mar 8 for the OpenSolaris preview based on build 134, if you want.

OpenSolaris is not in development any more, there are lots of messages in the archives about that topic, but there is hopefully going to be an update path to the Solaris 11 preview due out before the end of the year.

Hi everyone,

I'm new to OpenSolaris, and I'm loving it!!! it is awesome...

I installed opensolaris 2009.06, It doesn't recognize my Network card and Wlan card. When
I launch the Device Driver Utility manager it sees my cards because they appear in pink
highlighter, when I go to install driver button I get a message that says that
"repositories are currently unavailable" what can I do? In advance any help
and/or guidance is highly appreciated.
