I guess if you really need to access an NTFS drive you'd apply an ugly 
workaround: virtualize an OS that can access NTFS disks and enable USB and 
Shared Folders on guest. If the virtual machine is a brand new installation it 
becomes at least a half- day effort to make all ends meet, with Guest 
Additions, guest OS updates, file ownership and all...
