I have an Ultra 24 with 4 HDD slots with 2 x 25Gb HDDs set up as a mirrored
root pool. Sys tem is running Solaris 10

I've been trying to upgrade the 250Gb HDDs to 750Gb HDDs (one at a time) by
removing one from the root pool, adding the 750Gb to the root pool, doing the
installgrub on new disk. zpool status resilvers the disk (only 196Gb of the
750Gb HDD though) and all seems fine. I can reboot the machine using either
disk (managed via the bios) but when I remove the remaining 250Gb disk and try
and boot off the 750Gb it loads grub then I get something along the lines of
(from memory):
findroot (pool_rpool,1,a)
Error 15: file not found

"findroot (pool_rpool,1,a)" is a parameter in /rpool/boot/grub/menu.lst and
/rpool/boot/grub/bootsign/pool_rpool exists so not sure what I've missed.

Any help appreciated

Cheers
P
