Hey all, In process of building a new file server,
Will be using OpenSolaris (Newbie here) specifically for the ZFS ability Need to install about 20 drives (8 I can do via motherboard) so need to add the rest via controllers. Have seen AOC-SASLP-MV8 8 port controller works on solaris. But would obviously need to use two of these to control all drives. Can you see any issues with this, when installing two controllers does it cause any conflicts? Cheers in advance for any help. (In anticipation of anyone recommending a 16 port card, the reason i was going for 2 8's is only down to the cost.
