Hi all Basically, my fileserver will not boot into the OS. When i turn it on, it posts fine and i get through to GRUB. I select OpenSolaris 2009.06 from the menu and it goes to the loading screen. It hovers here for about a minute like usual, but then, instead of displaying the log on screen, the machine restarts. It just repeats this process... I have tried clearing the bios and leaving the machine unplugged for a few hours with no success.
This started when i accidentally bumped the IEC a few times while the machine was running. It shutdown when it lost power then restarted, and then i managed to knock the cord out again about 5 seconds after it had restarted. Any suggestions to what i should do?
