This may seem like a dumb question, but ...
I installed solaris 11 express on a sun/oracle machine with support contract. This is a plain vanilla installation, and after login for the first time, I click on Update Manager... Nothing happens. I click on Register. Nothing happens. I go to command prompt and do "sudo pkg update" and it just says "No updates necessary for this image." I find it hard to believe there have been no OS patches or updates in the last 8 months. So I think something is going wrong. I put in a support request, but because it's sev-3, I won't get a response till Monday or Tuesday. Is there something obvious I'm missing here? I'd like to make sure this system is fully updated.
