Thank you all fo replies, so - I changed symlink in /dev/audio & /dev/audoctl to sound/1, instead for sound/0.
and... it all works! Firefox, all other stuff including scummvm and VBox`ed winxp are up and running, which is very-very cool. BTW - in winxp Ableton Live, delay was about 25ms., which is not that bad after all. Only question - how do you think, do sound quality differ from winxp system and opensolaris with the same usb hardware? Or system just passes data, which is obviously same ones and zeroes to the USB device, which later just converts them from digital to analog? -- This message posted from opensolaris.org
