It's been a few days and some views(thanks for reading!) for this thread, so I decided to interpret that as lack of information on the side of viewers about this problem.
So, do we have confirmation that Realtek ALC268 is actually working in newer builds of Opensolaris? From a mailing list that I'm subscribed to I heard that there are some people with a working ALC268. There is a transcript of a chat session here [url]http://echelog.matzon.dk/logs/browse/opensolaris/1260399600[/url]. A participant said that he has a working ALC268 with audiohd driver. The date appears to be 2009-12-10. Are there any more examples of that? Although the abovementioned bugs have some relation to my problem, none of these are, in my opinion, close enough to be classified as same. Therefore I am thinking about submitting a bug on [url]http://defect.opensolaris.org[/url].
