It's not what I misunderstand, yet it is what we need to clarify to help 
move forward.

These volunteers don't magically appears and we can't expect these task 
magically get done.

It's already been said awhile ago the move away from svn, yet there was 
no weight upon it until now.

I don't think the svn-committers want to touch the oss-viewer branch, 
yet don't mind if the snowglobe branch remains open to commit. It would 
be the wrong impression, further, to assume the same committers will 
take on the extra load to help move to hg.
