I don't suppose that I have really encountered a bug, but I have
meticulously setup everything that the documentation describes to use
host based authentication, but I cannot get it to work.
I don't know if this is the right place to get help, given that it is
likely something wrong with my configuration. If not, I am hopeful
that you can at least point me to the appropriate place.
I am running OpenSSH_9.4p1, OpenSSL 3.1.2 1 Aug 2023 on Gentoo linux.
If you are willing to help me, I will send all the config file
information and debug output (showing failures I cannot resolve) from
ssh and sshd.
