Hi,
I 've built OpenSSL 0.9.6-beta3 on Sun Solaris 7 and used gcc version
2.95.2.
While all tests succeeded and the server runs with no problem, the client
version of our program fails when connecting to 0.9.4 or 0.9.6-beta2/beta3
servers: the servers remark that they do not receive a certificate from the
client.
It seems to me that this is a bug in openssl 0.9.6-beta2/beta3 running on
Sun Solaris 7, because
1. 0.9.4 clients running on Sun Solaris 7 work well;
2. the 0.9.6-beta3 s_client running on Sun Solaris 7 also cannot connect to
any SSL server (0.9.4 or 0.9.6-beta2/beta3, running on Linux, Sun Solaris,
...): In every case the server remarks that he doesn't get a peer
certificate from Solaris 7 s_client.
3. If the 0.9.6-beta3 s_client running on Sun Solaris 7 is running the debug
option the SSL handshake succeeds but only for no cipher.
Does anybody know about these 0.9.6-beta3 client problems on Solaris 7
and/or how to fix them?

Thanks for your answers.

Hartmut Lehnert
