folks, as a busy sysadmin, I'm often asked "is sex dirty?"... oooops, sorry... wrong list... :) try again - if you have to go around upgrading a zillion and one machines, it's very easy to overlook one tiny detail... there may be all kinds of back-end cgi and/or other processes that are set up to use 'ssleay <something>'. Since the new binary is 'openssl' this will lead to obvious problems...
