Greetings:
Is it possible, and if so how, to get client and server software that uses
openssl to use an SSL session cipher with 448 bit blowfish (symmetric block
encryption) and SHA1 for data hashing?
The idea would be to replace:
DES-CBC3-SHA
with something like:
BF448-SHA
Well you get the idea. Since blowfish is symmetric cipher operating on 64
bit data chunks, it should easy be able to replace DES and 3DES ciphers
used in SSL with it, especially when openssl already includes the blowfish
algorithms.
Thanks in advance. Sincerely, Alicia.
