Even if one manages to assemble it by fixing up the "fault" mentioned
below, it won't solve *anything* at all. To start with sparc.s (as in
0.9.2b) is an obsolete module and attempt to use it even under 32 bit
Solaris renders the library to unusable (you can't link no
applications). But even *if* it would be operational under 32 bit
Solaris, it doesn't mean *at all* it's automatically suitable for 64 bit
as well. For several reasons. To say the least stack frame allocation
size and reference to frame's elements is different in 64 bit Solaris.
In either case this is only *first* problem one has to solve on the way
to 64 bit SSL under Solaris 7... Good news that even other problems have
already been solved (well, at least till "all tests passed" state) and
if you're really ought to build 64 bit SSL application, then do download
a snapshot from ftp://ftp.openssl.org/shapshot/ which offers new
solaris64-usparc-sc5 option. Alternatively just wait for new release.
Please note that a compiler patch (look up the number in Configure
script) is *required*.
