Hello, I am brand new to OpenSSL and I have some questions. First of all, I am using OpenSSL 0.9.3a which I have ported to MS-DOS (I think). So assuming my port was successful, here are my questions: Can OpenSSL be used to encrypt and send data without setting up certificates? Specifically, how can I use DES encryption to send/receive data without using certificates? What are the necessary function calls to set this up..starting all the way from the beginning? I would really appreciate any help or info on this. Also, links to functioning source code that does not use certificates would be very useful, whether or not it uses DES.
