I heard that the latest version of openssl has some S/Mime support.
Is it at the stage of being able to encrypt, decrypt, sign, and
validate S/MIME e-mail messages?

But I can't seem to find these samples...
If possible I would like to add S/MIME support to my mailing list
software to automatically sent encrypted messages to a group of
recipents.
I've been playing with the S/MIME Freeware Library from J. G. Van
Dyke & Associates at:

without too much success.
Any ideas, suggestions, or help would be most appreciated.
