After doing a bit of research - (I actually read the msdev docs earlier
today ) - I'd say now that we should leave it. It seems to me that /W3
and WX really do coexist much as the same as the equivalent gcc options
do:
/W3 on the warning level
&
/WX for the restrictive action based upon the level of a warning. -
namely treat any warning as an error

P.S.
I'm cleaning up the developer studio project files (ms ide environment)
as we speak and will post developer studio files and workspace tomorrow,
The last ones i put out in 4/98 had ~2000 downloads from our win32
users. I'm just finishing up dealing with these damn
#include <openssl/*.h>
directives. i.e. another batch/perl script just to prepare to build.

A/!
