Oops, missed this one. I didn't believe it was true, because when I announced
to be working on the topic some weeks ago nobody seemed to listen.
(Except Ben to whom I was already in contact at that time.)
Then I remember what happened to Geoff Thorpe and his incompatible reference
count patch, which was first applied and then revoked and only later discussed
in openssl-dev...
