Initial support for MacOS is making its first appearance in the
*upcoming* snapshot, namely
ftp://ftp.openssl.org/snapshot/openssl-SNAP-19991220.tar.gz. Those who
are too impatient to wait till 19:30 GMT can fetch it at
http://www.openssl.org/~appro/openssl.tar.gz (when the web server comes
up, *it's down, please! fiiix!*) or
http://fy.chalmers.se/~appro/openssl.tar.gz. Then follow the
instructions in the INSTALL.MacOS. I gonna try to test-run snapshots on
weekly basis from now on in order to keep it "in-sync." Roy! I've
changed your MacSockets a little bit so that synopsis resembles more
Unix.
Open issue.
The .mcp (project) file was saved by CodeWarrior Pro 5.2. I don't know
if it's possible to open it with 4 or even 5. If you have problems, then
fetch http://www.openssl.org/~appro/OpenSSL.mcp.xml or
http://fy.chalmers.se/~appro/OpenSSL.mcp.xml and try to *import* it.
Then do tell if it worked, because then we might consider to distribute
the .xml file instead of .mcp (it's >3 times larger than .mcp when
uncompressed, but almost 2 times smaller when compressed).
