Good to know that development on asn1parser still continues :) IMHO it's
really useful tool.

Actually I have already modified/extended the latest public version 0.1 of
asn1parser in order to get it to work with the current version of
OpenSSL. I added few new features too. We decided to make our modified
version available at

http://home.cyber.ee/ville/asn1parser/

Hope this helps to make official version of asn1parser to become
compatible with OpenSSL (please note that our modified version is not
compatible with old SSLeay anymore).
