FreeBSD 3.2 was using gcc 2.7.2.3, which might be the reason - I seem to
recall gcc 2.95 changed the behaviour of which preprocessor is used. Note
that FreeBSD 4.0 doesn't have this problem (it uses gcc 2.95.2).
I haven't tested it on later releases of FreeBSD 3.x (3.4 is the most
recent version on that branch). Are there any other FreeBSD 3.x users here
who can confirm or deny the problem?
