This is the wrong list for your question. You should be asking in
openssl-users.
Please. Don't post to this list if you are not working on changing the
openssl libs themselves, or unless you have comments relevant to the work of
people who are.
Anyway, the answer to the question is "it depends." I've been able to keep
my app clean with both SSL-C and OpenSSL without difficulty. YMMV.
