Hi there, We are using the OpenSSL library in a web server product and are experiencing SMP (multi-processor) performance issues on Solaris. I have already hooked in my own memory allocation routines as I know that heap contention is a cause of many SMP related issues. This helped considerably, however I am still well below expectations, and would appreciate any insight. Currently we negatively scale after 3 CPUs. I believe one possible cause might be lock contention, however if anyone else has done work in this area or as suggestions on where to start, that'd be great. Our current version of the SSL library is 0.9.3a. Regards, Shane. ______________________________________________________________________ OpenSSL Project http://www.openssl.org Development Mailing List [EMAIL PROTECTED] Automated List Manager [EMAIL PROTECTED]
