I want to develop an Internet application in which clients will be presented a page to furnish personal info. Assuming that clients have got Certificates, I want personal info submitted to be signed & encrypted using clients cert and sent to a specific email address. The questions are: 1) smime accepts input file as an option to sign & encrypt. Is there any way to sign the submitted personal information (without first creating a temp file out of session on the client's machine and then signing & encrypting)? 2) Clients could be using IE or Netscape on Windows, Unix, Linux, etc. Is there any way to program above mentioned (1) for all of these?
