The previous two patches that I submitted to compile openssl under
DJGPP went to the list OK, but got munged by both of the archive
sites, making it difficult for others to apply. There was also a
problem in that the changes to util/point.sh worked under bash, but
failed under the Cygwin "sh", since its internal "test" command didn't
recognize the "==" construct. I am attaching the revised patch as a
gzip'ed file, so I hope it will go into the archives correctly. As
far as I know, it doesn't break other systems. It made compilation
under Cygwin easier, since Cygwin also had problems with extracting
symlinked files from the tar.gz source file. I only tested this on
DJGPP in a DOS box under Win98 and on Cygwin. I haven't tried on a
pure DOS system without long file names. If anyone finds any problems
with other systems after applying the patch, please let me know, so
that I can try to find changes for DOS that don't adversely affect
anyone else. Please note that I am not a programmer, so feel free to
let me know if something in the patch looks wrong.
