I take it this is directed at me and not Andy? I did a "make clean"
and then configured with no-asm, and it passes all the tests. I gather
this disables inline asm code all over the place, so I may be losing
performance. The speed of the "make test_bn" test didn't change with
or without asm, but I had to run it a dozen times to get one that ran
all the way through.
