Hello Gurus,
 
I have installed openSSL ( VERSION 1 "0.9.6b" "24/Feb/2000" "OpenSSL" ) on my Redhat linux (v6.2) box.
 
 
Please help me, how to get runnable from browser using https://<ip> or <url>/ after installing openSSL.
Still what I need to. I am able to see home page by giving http://192.168.1.235/ but not https://192.168.1.235/
 
Do I need to run any deamon comand of the ssl, like sshd of openSSh?
 
And how to asign a particuler directory as secured one.
 
/var/www/html
/var/www/cgi-bin
 
Current my apache home directory for httpd is /home/httpd/html and /home/httpd/cgi-bin.
 
Kindly, help me in this regard. Thanks alot in advance.

when I given url on browser: https://192.168.1.235/
 
In Netscape broswer getting following error:
 
There wan no response. The server could be down or not responding.
If you unable to connect again later, contact server's administrator.
 
But I only server configuration.
 
And
In IE 5.5, following error: ( Because, of following error I have alter my IE setting tools=>internet options=>securities>and checked SSL 2.0, SSL 3.0, TLS 1.0, PCT 1.0 as on. But no luck. )
