 Of course, but if it is not tried at all, then chances it'll get
production stability get lower, or at least the point is getting away in
the future.  Actually, in the case of shared libraries vs traditional ar
archives, there is nothing that can get broken once linking is done
properly -- the dynamic linking is transparent to programs.
