Hello, I recently installed OpenSSL 0.9.6c on a server that (unfortunately) runs Redhat 6.0.
I got it running; however, I have several comments. First: Why does it not build shared libraries automatically? What the hell is the point of that? Second: Why does make install rm the libraries? If anyone has a sensible reason for this, I'd love to hear it; I can't see any.
