To get an idea *what* is going wrong, we need the actual file
tmp.bntest.  The bc output just shows *that* something is going wrong.

But we already know that currently there are bugs for 64-bit
platforms.  The problems with the 32-bit system are more interesting;
for that case, please also try a 'no-asm' build.
