Hi all,
there was a problem with the former engine versions and the yet to
come OpenSSL 0.9.7 concerning the Atalla AXL300 SSL accelerator card
under Solaris 8.0. While everything worked fine with the plain OpenSSL
versions an RSA_sign error occurred with engine and 0.9.7.
Thanks to an email discussion with Geoff Thorpe we were able to get
things working again with a minor change to the API library so that no
changes are necessary to OpenSSL.
You can find the newest driver and API libraries for Atalla AXL300
under Solaris 8.0 at http://www.suffix.de/engl/atalla_driver.html
Bottom message for the openssl-dev readers: 0.9.7-SNAP-20020228 was
successfully tested with Atalla AXL300 under Solaris 8.0
