I feel so ashamed: today I restarted from the scratch on my (same) XP Pro
machine (nothing changed), and this time everything went fine.
You can see attached output files to commands

perl Configure VC-WIN32 no-threads > configure.out.txt 2>&1
ms\do_ms > do_ms.out.txt 2>&1
nmake -f ms\ntdll.mak > nmake.out.txt 2>&1
cd out32dll
..\ms\test > ..\test.out.txt 2>&1

Anyway, last time(s) I had absolutely no compilation errors/warnings but I
finally had the mentioned run-time error when performig "ideatest".
