I see this kind of statement in Makefile.org:
elif [ "$(PLATFORM)" != "Cygwin" ]; then PATH="`pwd`:$$PATH"; fi
That looks weird to me, shouldn't the comparison operator be '='
rather than '!='?
I looked back, and it seems I had that comparison from the start when
I put those statements in, so either I misunderstood the complaint or
the complaint was incorrectly written (can't find it, so I can't
verify). However, it looks contrary to me that PATH should be added
to in for example Linux (NOT needed), but not in Cygwin (where I
thought it was needed)...
