Actually I get this: --- The library could not be configured for supporting multi-threaded applications as the compiler options required on this system are not known. See file INSTALL for details if you need multi-threading. --- libc_r support has just been added to FreeBSD/sparc64, so this should probably use the same threading defines as FreeBSD/i386 (for 5.0).
