I have tried this with both 0.9.7-beta 3 and the official 0.9.7 release. Under windows, running the "openssl req" command causes an exception in libeay32.dll. I found this on a machine that had been working perfectly and then suddenly started exceptioning. On the advice of a co-developer, I tried setting the date back on my PC.
Lo and behold, I find that it works when I have my PC set to Jan 18th, 2003 or earlier, but the second I am on Jan 19th or later I get the exception. Please let me know if there is any other useful information I can obtain.
