Hi Steven,

They are posted in the Request Tracker
(http://www.aet.tu-cottbus.de/rt2/NoAuth/Buglist.html, or via
http://www.openssl.org//support/rt2.html), under item 951.

I'm not holding my breathe about integration soon ... :-)

G.

Hi George,

I'm surprised that nobody has responded. I may have to port an application
using OpenSSL to AS/400 at some stage so I would appreciate it if you would
post the patches. Perhaps if you post them the team will integrate them.

Regards,

Steven

Subject: [openssl.org #951] FW: New port to the AS/400 (iSeries)

Hi,

I've made a new port of OpenSSL version 0.9.7d for the AS/400 (iSeries).

OS/400 versions V5R1M0 upwards are supported.

It is based on a previous port (version 0.9.7b?) by Brian Morris
([EMAIL PROTECTED], ticket #701), and also includes the new EBCDIC patches
by Richard Koenning ([EMAIL PROTECTED], ticket #843).

But it also adds a few more changes that (IMHO) improve the port and build
environment, and extends the port to include service programs (AS/400
version of shared libraries), and ports for different EBCDIC characters sets
(CCSIDs).

I've also included an extensive README that should prove useful for OpenSSL
users in explaining the port, and some of the AS/400-specific issues.

Any questions, no problem.

Cheers,

G.
