I have few more questions:
Is there SSE2 support in win32 version with VC? Is it enough to add /G7 and /arch:SSE2 to the compiler options or I need to do anything else?
If you refer to assembler SSE2 code-pathes, then answer is no to both questions. Didn't have energy to engage it there...

Where is FIPS in this release? I cannot find it :) Maybe I overlooked something?
FIPS 0.9.7 certification is still pending and FIPS code won't get adopted for later versions till 0.9.7 is certified. A.
I see. Is there an estimated date when OpenSSL gets FIPS certification? A few months? This year? Next year?
I tested the beta-1 and it compiles cleanly in Visual C++ .NET 2003 both with nt.mak and ntdll.mak and ms\test is successful too. Even my application runs correctly with it.
