In the .pod files there seems to be some sort of cross referencing system.

These appear to be incomplete (or possibly badly processed).

The following are the error reports, which are against the converted
docbook files,
not the pod files, so I guess the line numbers won't mean much.
The id values are generated so again won't mean much in the .pod files.

If anyone is familiar with the pod files, (and has any interest) they
may like to see if the pod files are OK.
