This is a general question , may not directly deal with OpenSSL.
Problem: I want to store my keys using a FIPS compliant solution. I have
read in FIPS 140-2 document that password based key derivation functions are
not allowed in FIPS mode. As I see, in a software based solution, PBKDF would
be needed. One solution that I saw to this problem is to use FIPS compliant HSM
to store the key.
Do you know any software based solution for the above problem?
