Ok...

As much as I've grown to HATE the GNU libtool/auto-blah-blah-blah stuff
when trying to build open source stuff on Solaris 10 or OpenSolaris...
I have found even further frustration with the Perl based configs in
OpenSSL. All I'm trying to do is build a simple bi-arch instalation
( xxx/lib == 32bit libs xxx/lib/amd64 or xxx/lib/64 == 64 bit libs ) and for
the life of me I can't seem to hack the 0.9.6 d or f
releases to do so.

I'm not even trying to do a 32 and 64 bit build simultaneously. I'm not above
taking 2 passes at it.... (you know how Sun is with -rpath
linkage et. al.) Is there some magic key I must obtain, perhaps one Golum
himself has hidden, in order for me to accomplish this this?
Y
PS: Using OpenSolaris Release Nevada NV-73 and Sun's "Sun Studio 12"
Express compiler/tools released in 05-07. Have GNU tools in
/usr/sfw..... etc. but don't get any farther there.

All I'm looking for is a way to make the 32-bit binaries to end up
in $INSTALLPREFIX/bin, libs in $INSTALLPREFIX/lib and 64-bit
binaries in $INSTALLPREFIX/bin/amd64 and libs in
$INSTALLPREFIX/lib/amd64.

Can't seem to figure out how to make it happen.

Help is greatly appreciated!
