Type of request: bug report (minor bug)
OS: portable variant
Version: all (at last check)
Area: manual pages

People periodically contact me about a web version of manual pages
that I help maintain.
Here are a two OpenSSL-related issues that have been reported:

1. objects(3) manual page does not actually exist. This page is
referenced from the following
        manual pages:
                RSA_sign(3ssl)
                RSA_sign_ASN1_OCTET_STRING(3ssl)
                RSA_verify(3ssl)
                RSA_verify_ASN1_OCTET_STRING(3ssl)
                crypto(3ssl)

2. Many manual pages for functions do not tell what they return---for
example, the manual page
PKCS12_parse(3ssl). This makes it pretty hard to actually use
these
functions safely.

Apologies if these have already been reported. I didn't see them in a
search on rt.
