Hi,

we are using OpenSSL v0.9.8h as MinGW compiled dlls for Win32. Using
Vista x32 and x64 (also x32 dlls on SysWow) I noticed that SSL_read in
blocked i/o never triggers any timout while the same operation on Win XP
(SP2/SP3) is using the default system timeout on WinSock.

No BIO used. Single threaded test. The same behaviour applies to VM
using different operating systems under Vista. E.g. Win XP SP2 in VM
hosted by Vista x32: No timeout received while native XP SP2 works fine...

API used trough DLL with Indy 10 SVN (re-tested with earlier editions),
Synapse and others using Delphi 2006.

Operation without SSL_read using native WinSock provided through the
mentioned libraries works fine.

Could this be confirmed to be an issue related to OpenSSL and Vista? Are
there any known Socket issues on Vista?

Regards Arvid
