There is a name clash between the most recent version of wincrypt.h from the MS Windows SDK 6.0A and the ossl_typ.h header file.
Both use the symbol OCSP_RESPONSE which leads to a type error if an applications wants to include both the openssl headers and wincrypt.h. The fix is easy... just #undef OCSP_RESPONSE in the corresponding section of ossl_typ.h: #ifdef OPENSSL_SYS_WIN32 #undef X509_NAME #undef X509_EXTENSIONS #undef X509_CERT_PAIR #undef PKCS7_ISSUER_AND_SERIAL #undef OCSP_RESPONSE #endif Cheers, -- Marc-Andre Lemburg eGenix.com Professional Python Services directly from the Source (#1, Sep 24 2008) >>> Python/Zope Consulting and Support ... http://www.egenix.com/ >>> mxODBC.Zope.Database.Adapter ... http://zope.egenix.com/ >>> mxODBC, mxDateTime, mxTextTools ... http://python.egenix.com/ ________________________________________________________________________ :::: Try mxODBC.Zope.DA for Windows,Linux,Solaris,MacOSX for free ! :::: eGenix.com Software, Skills and Services GmbH Pastor-Loeh-Str.48 D-40764 Langenfeld, Germany.
