You have the idea and you are responsible for the VMS code health and we are at least three who want to do the job. This is not that huge work as the code itself compiles... just the build procedure needs to be redesigned and updated. Please, organize the work and split among us. You said you have an AXP. I run at home both AXP and VAX (www.polarhome.com) and have access to IA64 environment at work.
