Hello,

Until recently we have used an old version of Openssl 0.9.7, but because of the
need for support of so called G2 certificates (SHA2) we switched our
application to use version 1.0.0.a.

Now we run into a problem when our customers communicate with a certain third
party using OpenSSL 1.0.0 the session suddenly gets lost. It looks like the
third party disconnected after sending/receiving a lot of messages. Resulting
in a read failure on our side of the SSL connection.

We also tried most recent version 1.0.0d. The result is regrettably the same.

Switching back to good old 0.9.7 it all works again. This third party doesn't
need G2 certificates, so in this case this was possible. Our application has
been used since long without any change.

Using version 0.9.7 no solution however, because most parties being
communicated using SSL need the G2 certificates and off course there have been
a lot of security fixes since release 0.9.7.

What is the best way to clearify what is going wrong ?
